The Locals' Guide to Summer Fun is a digital publication distributed through our website, social media, email marketing, and QR code postcards distributed throughout Manatee County.
We estimate a minimum of 35,000+ local impressions.
DiscoverBradenton.com gets 10,000 to 20,000 monthly website visitors. We have nearly 25,000 combined social followers and 4,500+ email subscribers with a 60%+ average open rate. The guide is also promoted via targeted paid ads and printed postcards.
The planned launch date is June 15th. This will ensure enough time to finalize all submissions and distribute stickers to participating locations. The guide and sticker drop will be heavily promoted through August 15th.
If you purchase an article, we'll feature your business in a two-page spread. You'll be able to submit your own publish-ready article or schedule an interview and we'll write one for you. It will be featured in the Summer Guide publication, posted separately on our website, and promoted individually on our social media channels and email newsletter. All for a single payment of $250.
We must have all graphics, articles, and supporting information no later than 5 pm on June 5th. All submissions should be emailed to [email protected]
If you purchase a featured article, please provide a high-quality version of your logo and any photos you would like included. We will follow up with you to discuss article details.
Unfortunately, if you do not submit your information on time, we cannot guarantee inclusion in the guide. No refunds will be offered for late submissions. However, if you need help, please reach out before the deadline and we're happy to assist.

This summer promotion is best suited for restaurants, bars, retail shops, local attractions, entertainment venues, service providers, and businesses that want to stay visible during the summer months. This is also a great fit for businesses that want to reach locals, visitors, and families looking for things to do, places to go, and businesses to support across Manatee County.
If you're not sure whether your business might be a good fit, reach out to [email protected] to discuss. There's a good chance we can figure out a way to make it work. If not, you may decide to wait for our next publication, "Tips from Local Pros," which will come out in late summer/early fall.
